FAQs
What is considered a dental emergency?
A dental emergency includes severe toothache, swelling, dental abscess, broken tooth, knocked-out tooth, lost filling or crown, and dental trauma.
What should I do if I have a severe toothache?
Contact the clinic as soon as possible to book an emergency appointment. Avoid very hot or cold foods and take pain relief if necessary.
What should I do if my tooth gets knocked out?
Keep the tooth safe, ideally in milk or saliva, and contact the dentist immediately. In some cases, the tooth can be reinserted if treated quickly.
Can I get a same-day emergency appointment?
We always try to offer same-day emergency appointments whenever possible.
What if I have swelling or infection?
Swelling can be a sign of infection and should be treated as soon as possible. Contact the clinic immediately.
Will the dentist remove the tooth in an emergency?
The dentist will first try to relieve pain and save the tooth if possible. Extraction is only recommended if the tooth cannot be saved.
How much does an emergency appointment cost?
Please contact the clinic for current emergency appointment fees.
